Join us for an extraordinary retreat experience with one of nature's most intriguing spectacles. The Kellettville Firefly Farm just happens to have ideal habitats for several species of fireflies including the highly sought after Synchronous Firefly, Photinus carolinus. Once home to the PA Firefly Festival, the owners now manage the property as a Firefly Sanctuary. With just 8-10 overnight spots available this is an exclusive opportunity for those who want to fully immerse themselves into the firefly forest experience. The Synchronous Firefly season is typically mid June through early July if conditions are ideal. The 2027 dates will be determined based on seasonal weather predictions later in April/May.
20% of fees are shared with the PA Firefly Festival organization.

Firefly hunters, young and old, come from all over the world to witness one of nature's most spectacular mating displays. The Tionesta Creek has been identified as one of the few places in the world that has "Synchronous" fireflies among a variety of other unique and equally fascinating species.
